the REAL reason we are having these fire is environmentalists have banned controled burns

the proper way to manage the forests

is to allow controled dead brush burns and replant new growth.

we NEED slow controled burns to allow smoke into the atmospher to create rain, to create ash , to fertilize the ground .

to clear out brush …

this morning 6 :30 am while the sun rose i walked , abandoned by my husband who slept through 2 alarms and 45 phone calls , from venice to santa monica to catch the only bus i knew would take me home .
i watch as a house on the hills over malibu whent up in flames
a thick haze smoke seeping down towards the grate exspanse that is the paciffic

oddly enough hollywood is a bubble of defiant glee in the middle of the fire storm. it seems to be in a world all it’s own even the smoke and haze missing it and travling instead further downtown
