response to this week.

I have been trying to ignore the news for the most part, being it was midterm week; we have been hyper focusing on getting out computer up to speed. .

This MTV thing. I can happily say I didn’t see it.
We decided after about 4 seconds of half time show that, we were going to watch “Wardriver” the movie I worked on last quarter, and “Matt and the Dragon” my midterm project for VSFX 120, so we happily missed the mess. Although I do think the last good halftime show we got was Tampa, but I’m prejudiced my little sister was in that one.

The news of little Carlie, was some of the most disturbing I’ve heard in a while and my heart goes out to her family. It is a 1000 times worse when you lose a child, because you never know if you could have caused a butterfly effect for future generations. I mean she was only 11, for all we know she could of been the first female president. Or, found the cure for cancer.

Then her poor mother; we have been torn up over losing our pets for the past week or so, Alex dieing the same weekend as Jingles was a double blow for me.

But this was her daughter. She bore her for 9 months, and then I’m sure worried every day while she was away at school and waited anxiously for her when she was returning home. Or maybe she picked her up. But I’m sure she was loved, And now this sicko tore not only the life from this little girl he devastated a piece of her families soul.
