Fritz spent the day at Dr Galls office .
they did a full blood panel
…all good..
X-rays .
generally look good
a few calcium deposits on some lower vertebrae but nothing out of the ordinary for his age. .
his hips look amazing..
generally the bone looks good so were leaning nervous system.
Fritz received a steroid shot today.
Fritz is on Meta-cam daily .
and a weekly glucomine injection. 0.5ml
and 30 day crate rest .
what did come up in the visit was a slightly enlarged heart .
so we will be on the lookout for and warning signs of cardiovascular disease
I was told that after a few days if there is any unusual panting or shortness of breath or exhaustion to let him know .
