On July 4, 2009, cities across the country will be having “Tea Parties” to protest the government’s inability to spend money wisely and represent its constituents. Savannah, GA currently has no Tea Party planned, and the closest one is in Alabama.
I feel there should be a protest in Savannah, to tell the government that its time to begin to listen to us. We don’t answer to the government, the government answers to us.
This isn’t a Conservative event or a Liberal event, it’s an American event. For too long, the government has been setting our country up for failure. May these events be a Resounding Shot Heard Round the World.
It is my hope to generate enough interest to actually hold the event. If you would be interested in attending such an event, simply as an irate American, simply respond back with a comment.
