just a reminder I do commissions for art work.

Since people also like to know where there money goes .

Anything I do in the next little bit is going to be going towards a liberally estimated $900.00 vet bill to get Austin checked out.  If you have gone thru my gallery Austin is the littlest miniature schnauzer . He was a foster failure back in 2008, and we adopted him that year .

 
Austin needs :

bloodwork.$150
dental, he has a cracked molar. $150-$250
aspiration/biopsy of the lump on his chest. $90-$150
skin scraps taken from a few raised scally “moles” on his skin on his lower legs .$90-300
+ office vistit : $45.00

abt $900.00 total . 

Austin is still generally healthy. So blood work and dental should be first, skin and lump can probly wait up to a month. Although if he is going to  be knocked out for a dental that would be the best time to remove any lumps .

The  lump on his chest in a location that could be cancerous (lymphoma )I really want to get it biopsied . He also has scaly spots on his lower legs that are also at a higher risk of being malignant melanomas .

I really just want to get him in for the screenings hopefully it will be nothing but this is more then the standard $45.00 checkup cost .

I’ll be doing a few sculptures once I return to CA .

In other news Matt my husband  has apparently found a new job. He had moved to IN back i n September while I stayed behind in CA to work. HE lost his job due to untreated ADHD in November he   and will be giving it another go. But he will have to move again to do it , and probably will not be settled right away .

I’m currently helping him wrap some stuff up here in IN  and hopefully  getting  his doctors stuff sorted out. My insurance doesn’t cover him in IN so it’s again out of pocket for me .

I do commissioned art work and web design . My day job isn’t terrible, I can get my regular bills paid , but I have a lot of things hitting me hard all at once right now and any little extra I can earn will be a blessing . see my  Etsy store and price lists here at [link]

which is why i’m honestly making a calander on google cal, to keep track of his executive orders . Bush even occasionally made a good decision. in photography we see it as a numbers game .. but the issues is , sometime it takes 300 crappy pictures to get one good one.. and kind of crappy ones being made right now are steering us towards a cliff .. and i’m ready to get off this speeding bus to socialism .

i have to agree i did too.

and those of us who are represented by a member of the DNC, all got back, a caned email response , and we know because we compared the letters online . there was no listening or representation even though the people called with 9-1 against the bailout.. ..

government to force testing on thrift stores and craters . starting Feb 10th.

( although this JUST updated : looks like second hand store MAY get a reprieve . which would be good. hopefully this applies to ALL
i know a lot of rescues that depend on a thrift store type setting to raise money for shelter food ect for people and animals

i asked her to post the rest of the info. since i know people are wary about direct donations ,
but i trust Rhonda isn’t scamming, and honestly got stuck with a dog once the other rescue fell through.
this happens when a rescue commits asks someone to pull and assist with transport then for what every reason flakes out.

Within the last few months MSRH has acquired several senior Schnauzers, either through senior owners and/or their families surrendering to us or they were surrendered to a kill shelter.

This issue is a very real problem all pets must face when their senior owners have a life changing event happen and there is not a contingency plan in place.

If you are a senior person, please take a moment and ask yourselves “if my health, financial, or living arrangements should change, who would take care of my beloved pet?”

Please make provisions for your 4 legged companion, the one that loves you unconditionally and depends on you. If you don’t plan for their future they may not be so lucky as to have a rescue group such as MSRH save them, but instead might end up in a kill shelter as their last stop on this earth.
