todays adventures  and my new look..
no good deed goes unpunished…..
or that’s what the DR at the pee test place said …

so i was on my way to get my pee test done so i can rejoin the workforce…

and i was leaving the house at that point because my bladder is fickle and i had to GO then so i figure now would be the time . .. but i got about 7 miles away from home and realized i needed ID. so i swung a Uy, and on my way back to the island. traffic slowed on the causeway….

and ther they were .
a little red pitt and a boston terrier with a limp. so i pulled off to the side of the road and called to the dogs. the pittie stopped , and looked the terrier picked up space, he was limping in his right rear . and didn’t seems interested in people. .. traffic was heavy on the narrow causway so i didn’t want to give chase and frighten him into oncoming cars .

but the Pittie came to me after a little coxing and some “Good Girl ! come her baby!”

i couldn’t get her friend a pure bred Boston terrier though..

From rescues 2009

..
so being neither had a collar. i picked her up and put her in the car.

she freaked a little getting in and swung her blocky head back .. right into my cheek..
so i have a nice shiner.. that i didn’t even realize i had untill i was nearly to the guard shack at the gate.

so i run home to get my drivers license a dog leash, and some cookies..

we then drove to the humane society to check for a chip. no such luck,

but the lady there was kind enough to take her picture on her phone to send to me ..

PBQ , a rescue friend that specializes in pitts is helping me out. but she may already have a rescue down here so fingers crosed they can take her and she has something treatable like worms .. in stead of being preggers which is possible :/

then it was too the back to animal control to do my civic duty. and give the owners a shot at reclaiming..
all the wile hoping they won’t, she is covered with ticks and either has worms or puppies because her tummy is ready to pop.. :/

so AC took her in i’ll call tomorrow to see how she is .

but while i was there they called our local pittie rescue and they may take her which would be great . she has such a sweet personality..

any way after that .. and an hour of no Peeing. i got to my test place with an ice pack on my eye . curtosy of animal control..
i have to say i LOVE the new management.
the old AC were real jerks. this group actually cares.

isn’t my first shiner so oh well happens as the one guy i talked to today said
