When it Rains it Pours

just a reminder I do commissions for art work.

Since people also like to know where there money goes .

Anything I do in the next little bit is going to be going towards a liberally estimated $900.00 vet bill to get Austin checked out.  If you have gone thru my gallery Austin is the littlest miniature schnauzer . He was a foster failure back in 2008, and we adopted him that year .

Austin miniature schnauzer

Austin needs :

bloodwork.$150
dental, he has a cracked molar. $150-$250
aspiration/biopsy of the lump on his chest. $90-$150
skin scraps taken from a few raised scally “moles” on his skin on his lower legs .$90-300
+ office vistit : $45.00

abt $900.00 total . :(

Austin is still generally healthy. So blood work and dental should be first, skin and lump can probly wait up to a month. Although if he is going to  be knocked out for a dental that would be the best time to remove any lumps .

The  lump on his chest in a location that could be cancerous (lymphoma )I really want to get it biopsied . He also has scaly spots on his lower legs that are also at a higher risk of being malignant melanomas .

I really just want to get him in for the screenings hopefully it will be nothing but this is more then the standard $45.00 checkup cost .

when it rains it pours..

I am not asking for handouts . I’m asking for people to buy some art work I Do customs pieces .

paintings, prints,acrylics, and sculptures .

I’ll be doing a few sculptures once I return to CA .

In other news Matt my husband  has apparently found a new job. He had moved to IN back i n September while I stayed behind in CA to work. HE lost his job due to untreated ADHD in November he   and will be giving it another go. But he will have to move again to do it , and probably will not be settled right away .

I’m currently helping him wrap some stuff up here in IN  and hopefully  getting  his doctors stuff sorted out. My insurance doesn’t cover him in IN so it’s again out of pocket for me .

I do commissioned art work and web design . My day job isn’t terrible, I can get my regular bills paid , but I have a lot of things hitting me hard all at once right now and any little extra I can earn will be a blessing . see my  Etsy store and price lists here at [link]

I’ll be posting sculptures/Jewelry soon as I have a few completed.

If you’d rather buy “stuff” i also have a zazzle store
[link]

or you can pick out prints from Deviant Art . both have a smaller return and do take longer to clear paypal but at this point any little bit helps .

” the relevant Federal law – those stations CANNOT refuse those ads, because they’re campaign ads for a legitimate candidate for Federal office. WCAU, Chicago, said they wouldn’t run it, and are now defendant to Federal action initiated by Mr. Terry to force the issue. I’ve seen the spot – and anyone else who wants to – it’s on Mr. Terry’s website. “

Obama green jobs program faces further investigation

By Gregory Korte,

USA TODAY WASHINGTON – House Republicans are expanding their probe into the Obama administration’s energy programs, investigating $500 million in green job training grants that placed just 10% of trainees in jobs, according to a government report. The program’s goal was to train 124,893 people and put 79,854 in jobs. But 17 months later, 52,762 were trained and 8,035, or roughly 1 in 10, had jobs. Those numbers come from an audit by the Department of Labor’s inspector general, which recommended that the administration end the program and return unspent money. -more-

American Exceptionalism Means Politicians Who Take Responsibility and Face Our Problems

Gary Shapiro, Contributor to Forbes

President and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association

1/25/2012 @ 8:17PM

“To hear President Obama explain it in last night’s State of the Union Address, the real problem affecting job growth and economic recovery is that millionaires and billionaires don’t pay enough taxes. What a change from year ago, when the President spoke forcefully and eloquently about rebuilding America’s innovation engine. He mentioned the need for innovation last night, but it was your typical SOTU throw-away line, buried beneath mounds of class-warfare rhetoric. This might be good politics, but it won’t put a single American back to work. I heard brilliant oration but felt sad that President Obama chose to divide and campaign, and ignore our problems, rather than have an honest discussion of our fiscal reality, provide leadership and unite our country.” -Read More-

NBC legally obliged to run Romney ad it wanted pulled

By JOSH GERSTEIN |

1/29/12 2:02 PM EST

“An NBC-owned TV station is reportedly continuing to air a Mitt Romney ad that the network has asked Romney to pull, prompting charges of hypocrisy.

But the situation isn’t particularly surprising since broadcasters are legally required to run any ads candidates present—as is.

NBC and former Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw asked Romney’s campaign to drop the ad—which consists almost entirely of a clip from a 1997 Nightly News broadcast discussing then House Speaker Newt Gingrich’s reprimand for ethics violations.” -more-
